Join our hands-on workshop at MiniMeLand Paris and craft your own elegant, structured handbag from start to finish. With step-by-step guidance from our expert artisans, you will begin by selecting your perfect size from our range of options XS, S, M, L, or our One-Size Totebag Then, choose from our exclusive collection of premium, deadstock fabrics for every detail: the front flap, panel, sides, and interior lining.

Using our professional templates, you'll cut your chosen fabrics and assemble them over a rigid internal frame, creating a defined shell that gives your bag its beautiful shape and lasting structure. We'll be with you at every stage, helping you precisely glue and fit each piece into place with care and precision.

Finally, make your design uniquely yours by adding personalized embellishments, from chains and brooches to buttons and more! By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a fully assembled, custom-made structured bag from repurposed materials.

Content of the Hard Bag Making Workshop

 

  • Welcome & Introduction
  • Start with a warm welcome: grab your name tag, enjoy a coffee or tea, and get to know your fellow creators.
  • Our team will introduce the workshop and invite you to share about yourself

 

  • Select your preferred size XS, S, or M based on the format and capacity you’d like for your bag.

 

  • Choose your deadstock materials for each part of the bag, including the front flap, inner flap, front panel, sides, and interior lining.

 

  • Using our patterns and guidance, cut all selected fabric pieces to match the pattern components.

 

  • Press the fabric panels, then sew each section to its corresponding inner facing to reinforce and prepare them for assembly.

 

  • With assistance from our team, glue the fabric covered panels onto the cardboard structure. Once all pieces are prepared, hand them over to our team for final construction.

 

  • Choose from our selection of embellishments chains, brooches, buttons, and more to personalize and complete your bag.
