Learn how to design your own handbag from scratch in this creative, hands-on workshop at MiniMeLand Paris. Guided by our team, you’ll begin by selecting your bag size (XS, S, or M), then choose from a curated selection of our dead-stock, designer, exterior fabrics, linings, flaps, and straps to bring your vision to life. Step by step, you’ll cut your materials, assemble the structure, and build your soft bag using glue techniques, foams to give the bag its shape, and professional tools, no sewing experience needed. Next, you’ll add your personal touch with signature details.

Choose from a wide range of embellishments including brooches, chains, buttons, ribbons, and more to complete your one of a kind piece. You'll leave with a fully finished handbag designed and made by you a stylish creation and a lasting memory to carry with pride.

Content of the Soft Bag Making Workshop

  • Welcome & Introduction
  • Start with a warm welcome: grab your name tag, enjoy a coffee or tea, and get to know your fellow creators.
  • Our team will introduce the workshop and invite you to share about yourself

 

 

  • Pick your size : XS, S, or M - Whether you want something cute and compact or roomy for everyday use.

 

 

  • Time to be creative! Select your favorite fabrics for the flap, under flap, front, sides and lining! Get creative!

 

  • With guidance from our team and pre-made patterns, carefully cut each fabric piece to match the parts of your design.

 

 

  • Press the fabric panels to prepare them for assembly. Then, with our help, sew the main sections together while adding the foam structure inside to give your bag its shape.

 

  • Our expert team will guide you through the final construction steps, helping you attach and align all the components to complete your custom bag.

 

  • Choose from a wide variety of decorations—chains, brooches, buttons, charms, and more—to personalize your bag and make it truly one of a kind.
